Most years, I create a wall calendar as both a personal project and a way to share the places I explore or return to most often in Alaska. The 2026 edition features some of my favorite adventures, including an unexpected June snowfall on the Summit Trail, a rare glimpse of a glacier cave in the Canwell Glacier moraine, quiet nights under the aurora, and wildlife encounters in Denali and coastal Alaska.
For me, this isn’t just about showcasing pretty pictures. It’s about documenting Alaska’s wild character, the science of glaciers, the fleeting seasons, and the stories that connect me to these landscapes and wildlife.
