I was hiking the Thorofare Ridge in Denali National Park near mile 66 on the Park Road when a bit of blue sky appeared above. The clouds began to split and a behemoth of a mountain started to peak out above them. Denali is the tallest mountain in North America at 20,310 feet (6,190 m) above sea level. The sky continued to clear throughout the day, by the time I hiked down to the road the view of the mountain was spectacular!
